Dear Green American,
Did you go to a cookout on the 4th of July? If so, you were likely surrounded by dishes made with Kraft Miracle Whip. It’s in everything, like potato salad, pasta salad, coleslaw, deviled eggs, on burgers, and probably somehow in everything else, too. It’s a dressing and mayonnaise, and it’s full of GMOs.
Tell Kraft you don’t want Miracle Whipped GMOs! »
Most mayo at the supermarket contains genetically engineered (referred to as GE or GMO) ingredients, frequently made from factory farmed eggs.
Hellmann’s recently launched a mayo option made without GMOs, and now we’re asking Kraft to one up its competitor. We want Kraft to remove all GMOs from Miracle Whip, including those in the animal feed that produce the egg ingredient, and commit to high animal welfare standards.
Need another reason to send a non-GMO message to Kraft? Under its various legal names (now called The Kraft Heinz Company) from mergers and spinoffs over the past few years, Kraft has given over $4 million to fight your right to know about GMOs in your food at the state level.
Ask Kraft to step up to the plate and commit to transitioning Miracle Whip to non-GMO ingredients and organic, pasture-raised eggs »
Thanks for all that you do to help build a healthier, greener, and just food system!
