Victory in Vermont!

judge rules in favor of Vermont in GMO labeling law

Vermont won a major victory last week when a federal judge ruled in favor of the state’s right to place in effect a law that will require the mandatory labeling of products containing genetically engineered ingredients. This is exciting news as the Grocery Manufacturers Association and industry groups have continued to challenge labeling laws and the will of the people. This is a huge step in changing the national dialogue around labeling and establishing states’ rights on the issue. Read more »

Though you maybe haven't made plans, National Hummus Day is coming up on May 13. As part of our campaign to push Sabra to drop the GMOs, we are putting together a list of all kinds of ways you can make and use hummus. We would love to share the recipes that you’ve come up with, or creative uses you have discovered.
