GMO Inside - If corporations won't label GMOs, then we the people will.
Dear Green American ,

You've probably heard our "No GMOs, Cheerios" campaign scored a huge victory already this year when General Mills announced they removed the GMOs from their "original" yellow-box Cheerios.  Then last week, we congratulated Post Foods for following suit with the launch of non-GMO Grape-Nuts. They're even getting verified by a third party.  Now on to our next non-GMO breakfast-cereal win...

General Mills manufactures 11 additional varieties of Cheerios, NONE of which are non-GMO.  For example, Honey Nut Cheerios -- America's #1 breakfast cereal -- lists sugar and corn starch as its second and third ingredients.  Along with canola oil, vitamin E, and "natural" flavors, these ingredients all likely come from GMOs.  What's more, General Mills has not committed to third-party verification for the "original" yellow box variety.

Join GMO Inside in asking General Mills to take the next step »

Our new "Say 'Cheerio' to Honey Nut GMOs" campaign asks for three specific next steps from General Mills:

1.  We want GMOs out of Honey Nut Cheerios, and all of General Mills products.

2.  We want General Mills to verify that their products are non-GMO via a third party.

3.  We want General Mills to STOP opposing state-level GMO labeling efforts, via corporate funding of anti-labeling campaigns.  We have a right to know what's in our food!

Please take action with us today to urge General Mills to step it up.  It's not just "original" Cheerios that should be non-GMO.  Honey Nut Cheerios, as the country's #1 cereal, should be non-GMO as well.

Thanks for all you do!

In cooperation,

Nicole and Michelle
