Dear Green American ,

The Os you know -- maybe even grew up with -- contain an unhealthy secret.  Despite Cheerios's marketing about being trusted and heart healthy, these little O's contain genetically modified ingredients (GMOs).

Why have Europeans been able to get non-GMO Cheerios?  Because of consumer pressure.  We need to keep the heat on General Mills, NOW.  We all deserve safe, healthy, non-GMO food!

Please post a GMO comment on Cheerios's Facebook wall.

"Cheerios you have the chance to be a leader and remove GMOs from your cereals!"

"I grew up with Cheerios, but I won't feed them to my kids because you now use GMOs. Say no to GMOs!"

Call Your Senators About GMO Amendments to Farm Bill
Let your senators know that you support these amendments to the farm bill affecting GMOs: 

• Repeal the Monsanto Protection Act: Senator Jeff Merkley (D-OR)'s amendment #978
• Support GMO federal labeling: Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA)'s amendment #1025
• Ban Genetically Engineered Salmon: Senator Mark Begich (D-AK)'s amendment #934 

Update: Connecticut is labeling (if you can too!)
CT is the first state to pass a labeling bill that hinges on four more states doing the same. Read more here!
